Baz Luhrmann directs “The Great Gatsby”. God help us all.

A friend of mine posted about this:

Color me repulsed.  What annoys me most about Luhrmann is how he creates these lush, dazzling set pieces, but refuses to let the camera linger on them for anything longer than five seconds.  The result is a stylish hot mess of pretty pictures that looks like it was edited by a squirrel on crystal meth.

However,  this gives me a perfect excuse to post the Nostalgia Critic’s epic 45 minute review of Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge.  Yay!

Who would have known that Critic, of shrill voiced vitriol, had such an impressive singing voice?
